Luxembourg Science Center
Recently, I took the kids to Luxembourg Science Center, in Differdange. I didn’t know about this place but, as I learned, it’s a great science and discovery center for everyone, kids or grown-ups!
I really liked the fact that you can find activities suitable for all ages, from small children to adults. All discovery stations have complete, multi-language info on the experiments, so you will probably learn a few things while having a lot of fun!
The little one took all the kinetic sand for himself, until I promised him I will buy a bag to play at home. Luckily, they had some packs for sale at the reception.
We also played with robots, tried different mechanic experiments, watched a few demonstrations, all in all it was a good day!
The Luxembourg Science Center is not really an alternative to Sënnesräich Park and the 5 senses rooms in Lullange, but more like a complement, as the experiments and all the activities are quite different.
So, as the school holidays are just around the corner, it would be a great idea to check out both of them.
The full adult price is 10 euro, the kids between 6-18 pay 7 euro and the smaller kids can enjoy for free!
The address is 50 rue Emile Mark, Differdange, about 20-30 minutes from Luxembourg city. They have parking and a cafeteria, and they’re open between 9-17 during weekdays, 10-18 during weekends and holidays.
Find all the info you need on their official website.
